TikTok boyband leaves a buzz throughout the campus
Students at London South East Colleges' Bromley campus descended on its Sports Hall to welcome TikTok-famous boyband, Here At Last, for an educational session on mental health and cyberbullying. The band has an impressive 2.9 million followers on the social media platform and was in the Top 4 UK artists on TikTok in 2022.
Prince's Trust students mark the end of their successful 12-week team programme
We welcomed around 30 guests to our Bromley Campus for the end-of-year presentation marked the completion of their 12-week Prince's Trust Team Programme. The course is aimed at 16 to 25-year-olds looking for new opportunities and fresh challenges to help develop their confidence, motivation, communication, and employability skills.
When you volunteer, remember it's not about you
Alice Ibiam, Head of the Volunteering Services, King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, came to our Bromley campus to speak to 30 students about the benefits of volunteering. With such a wide range and variety of work experience available to them - there's no surprise that 24 of our students applied this year.

Following the fantastic virtual session from Yetunde Hofmann delivered in October, three of our T Level Management and Administration students attended the 'The Enjoyable Life' Series Annual Conference by Synchrony Development at Chancery Lane on 9 December.
PwC kick off their work experience project with our first-year Business students
A diverse mix of marketing and brand professionals came together to develop an interactive and engaging presentation that brings the campaign planning process to life. PwC delivered this excellent virtual session to our Level 3 Business Studies students on Tuesday 29 November.
Women in Tech workshop for our female learners
London South East Colleges collaborated with PwC to hold the first inaugural session of their Women in Tech workshop initiative. The session has been designed to encourage female students to continue their studies in male-dominated areas and pursue careers in technology.
Construction students reap the benefits of work experience with United Living
Over the past five weeks, thirteen construction students have completed work experience with United Living - a company specialising in infrastructure, housing, and property services. They gained valuable, first-hand experience at the residential site in Sydenham.

An apprentice from London South East Colleges has been named Apprentice of the Year in the AoC's prestigious Student of the Year Awards 2022.
Fantastic outcome for our Macmillan Coffee Morning at our Greenwich campus
Staff and students at Greenwich held a coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support yesterday, Thursday 10 November. Catering and Health and Social Care students came together to organise a coffee morning and managed to raise £182 in donations.
